Journey to the Cure
Wind Beneath Our Wings
Every organization has its unsung heroes, those individuals that lift them up in
many ways minus the kudos or recognition. Journey to the Cure is no exception. From time to time, we would like to introduce you to these individuals. Our organization as a whole and the volunteers that make up JttC have been
enriched by knowing these "heroes" and we would like everyone to have the opportunity to know them too. There are angels among us, and they walk
upon the earth!
Steve Augeri, born and raised a New York city boy,
has been instrumental in helping JttC since its
inception doing everything he could from matching
high bids on Ebay lithographs to "anonymously"
helping support events, to finding volunteers for
our JttC family Steve has never stopped finding
ways to help us.
His beautiful wife, Lydia Augeri (a JttC board
member) and he have helped numerous other charitable organizations over the years. As a family, the Augeri's have a giving, sensitive, and philanthropic heart. They have worked endlessly to help organizations raise money for children's diseases, the homeless, drug rehabilitation programs, and their favorite
Having lost dear friends and family to breast cancer, it is easy for Steve to find the motivation to want to be there and pitch in . JttC is very lucky to have people like Steve Augeri, and his incredible family on our side.
Did you know you
can help JttC while
you surf the web?
and then designate "Journey to the Cure" as your charity of choice!
Journey to the Cure is forever indebted to those individuals that go above and beyond to help us complete our mission. Without them, our journey would be short.
