JttC Joy Baskets
Please consider donating funds or items to help provide future joy baskets.
The “Joy Basket” project involves just a simple gesture on our part, the presentation of a “Joy Basket” to a woman who has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer.  The gift basket contains simple comfort items, such as lotion, tea, sweets, stuffed animals, books, CD's, note cards,
as well as personal hand-written notes of support and encouragement from breast cancer
survivors.  Anyone can request that a Joy Basket
be delivered to a recently diagnosed woman.
Cancer is limited
It can't cripple love
It can't shatter hope
It can't corrode faith
It can't destroy peace
It can't kill friendship
It can't suppress memories
It can't silence courage
It can't invade the soul
It can't steal eternal life
       It can't conquer the spirit

"Thank you so much for the "Joy basket." I can't tell you how special it makes me feel to be thought of in such a kind way. I hope that every woman who receives one feels special as well, and appreciates the fact that people really do care. Thanks again. ~ Joy"

"Dear Journey to the Cure, Thank yo so much for the wonderful gift basket.  I was very touched by your care and concern.  I feel very supported and loved.  I am doing great!  This is largely due to people like you! ~ Nancy"

"Words cannot say how I felt when I received your basket.  From snacks, diary, teas, DVD, keychains, and everything else.  I just felt a much needed hug of support.  Every part was so special but I have to say my pink "Static" (Ty) bear has been with me every night when I need support the most.  Your gift was so unexpected yet so thoughtful.  Thank you again.  It is so wonderful to have support from survivors when you are facing one of the most scariest battles of your life.  Love ~ Beth"

"Dear Journey to the Cure Directors, Thank you so much for the basket that arrived yesterday.  Deb Parquette was so nice and caring and the basket brightened my day.  It was filled with wonderful items I could use and I appreciated.  Thank you again, Sincerely ~ Marcia"

"Thank you for allowing me to be one of the first to receive such a lovely gift.  You don't know how much it touched me.  On the way to radiation I called a friend to tell them about it and I couldn't stop crying.  I cannot thank you enough.  The "joy basket" reminds me that there are so many who care - I will beat this! ~ Renee"

"Thank you so much for the caring joy basket that I received.  With the support and prayers of many friends, family and people like you this very scary time has been made a little easier.  I received good reports after my surgery last week and with a few treatments early detection has  made me a survivor.  God Bless You and your cause and to a cure! ~ Karen"

"I just wanted to say thank you so very much for the beautiful basket that was sent to me. I am 27 years old and battling Breast Cancer, getting ready for Chemo in just a couple of weeks.. I appreciate this warm token from your hearts. Thank you again. ~ Churee"

Joy Baskets are an amazing way to offer support.

The Joy Basket project would not be possible without the support of generous businesses and individuals.  We are constantly in need of items to be placed in our baskets.  Any contribution you can make, no matter how small or large,
is truly welcome and appreciated.  All donations are tax deductible.

If you can help us bring a little bit of “joy” into the lives of women battling breast cancer, please let us know.
