Journey to the Cure
Welcome!

Breast cancer is running rampant in the United States.  The most recent statistics cruelly point out that 1 in 7 women, if they live to be 90 years old, will develop breast cancer in the United States.  We are a part of the fight to promote screening, promote medical research to find better screening and more effective treatment in order to increase the survival rate.  Every woman counts!

All women 40 years and older should have annual breast cancer screening.  This includes an annual professional breast exam and radiologic screening (mammograms for all women and occasionally breast MRIs (magnetic resonance image) for certain high risk women.  If you would like to sign up for email reminders for annual mammograms, please do so here www.myhealthrestreminder.org.  We also endorse their view on screening for breast cancer.
